RW: Yes. You’ll see when you scroll through a list of products or search results that some items will display the stars that indicate a product review. Many warehouse items are also on Costco.com with reviews, so it’s wise to consult your mobile device when shopping at the warehouse.

 

CC: Does the mobile platform facilitate any SMS texting promotions?

RW: SMS text messaging does not depend on the mobile platform, but we are launching a new SMS text option at the same time. On a cellphone, members can send the word “Costco” to 71034 to opt in to receive text alerts via their phone. ;e alerts will be about new products, when coupons are coming in the mail, special events coming to their area, new service programs, etc.

RW: We recognize how needs are changing; the mobile platform provides our members with a convenient way to access Costco. com, and establishes a bridge between online and warehouse shopping. C
